About this site
OpenCF is a fan-made CrossFire reference built by TeamVanilla.
Where the data comes from
Players, clans, ladders, inventories, ribbons and collections come from Z8Games’ public web API, the same one the official profile pages use. We ask for a player only when someone opens their page, keep the answer for a few minutes, and cap how many requests we send each minute. If Z8Games does not answer, you see our last copy and a note saying how old it is.
Pictures of weapons, characters, ribbons, maps and ranks are loaded by your browser straight from Z8Games’ image servers. This site does not copy or host them.
Weapon numbers (damage for each hit box, fire rate, range, falloff, penetration, magazine sizes and so on) are read from the game client’s own data tables (client build 2026-08-24). Z8Games’ own weapon list only shows 0 to 100 bars; these are the values the game works from. Weapons are matched to those tables by item code where the client lists one and by name otherwise, which is why a few weapons show no game data.
Items other than weapons have no public list, so ours grows as players are looked up. Maps and modes follow the official modes page.
What the numbers mean
Damage assumes a weapon in full condition, fired at point-blank range at a player with no armour and 100 health. Time to kill counts the time between shots, so a one-shot kill is 0 ms. Weapons lose some damage over distance, and each hit varies slightly; both are listed on each weapon page.
Privacy
No accounts, no cookies and no trackers. Your recent searches and the weapons you add to a comparison are kept in your own browser only. Player profiles shown here are the same public profiles Z8Games publishes.
The “online” count at the top of each page is people who opened a page or used the app in the last five minutes. To count you once, the site keeps a scrambled tag made from your connection and browser with a key that changes every day, and deletes it after ten minutes. Your address itself is never stored.
