OpenCF for Android and Windows

The whole site redrawn for a touch screen: look up a player between matches, sort their weapons by type, check what a gun does to each hit box, flick through every map’s pictures. It reads the same numbers as this site, so the two always agree. On a PC it opens in a phone-shaped window.

What it does

  • PlayersSearch by name or player number. Career stats, K/D, headshots and wins as gauges, every loadout, ranked tiers, and every weapon they own sorted by type: rifles, snipers, melee, throwables.
  • WeaponsAll 2,860 weapons, filtered by class and by model (every AK, every M4A1). Damage for each hit box, shots and time to kill.
  • Maps270 maps with their full-size pictures, the modes they run in and Z8Games’ own rules for each mode, and 214 overhead layouts drawn from the game’s own files.
  • How to get itFor every weapon and character: Black Market, Item Shop, Coupon Exchange, Zombie Mode, VIP and more, each checked against Z8Games’ list, the game files, the CrossFire Wiki and today’s CF Shop.
  • The ladderThis week, the season and all time, fifty players a page.

Installing it

Both come from this site, not from Google Play or the Microsoft Store.

On Android

  1. DownloadTap the Android button above on your phone. Your browser may ask to keep a file of this type; keep it.
  2. Allow the installOpen the download. The first time, Android asks you to let your browser install apps; allow it for this one install.
  3. Open OpenCFIt needs an internet connection and nothing else: no account, no permissions beyond the network.

On Windows

  1. DownloadClick the Windows button above. OpenCF.exe is the whole program: there is no installer and nothing else to fetch.
  2. Open itThe program is not code-signed, so Windows may say it does not recognise it. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Use itIt needs an internet connection and nothing else. To remove it, delete the file.
