Heads up Z8Games' ranked ladder isn't reaching OpenCF right now, so the leaderboard is built from the ranked profiles opened here. Player lookups work as normal. New: the CrossFire Encyclopedia

What is CrossFire?

The basics

The game, the two factions, and how a match works.

CrossFire is a free-to-play, first-person shooter made by the South Korean studio Smilegate and first released in 2007. In North America it is published by Z8Games, whose public profile pages are where this site reads player records from.

Two sides

Every match is played between two mercenary factions: Global Risk (GR) and Black List (BL). In most modes the sides are cosmetic and you switch between them; in objective modes such as Search & Destroy one side attacks and the other defends.

A match

Players join a room, pick a mode and a map, and play rounds against the clock or to a score limit. Every player has 100 health. Before each life you choose a bag: a primary weapon, a pistol, a melee weapon and throwables. Kills earn EXP (rank progress) and GP (in-game money).
